It had already been announced in recent weeks, but now it’s official: daniel leicht (32) will leave regional league club TSV aubstadt in the winter break after more than ten years and join his hometown club FC strahlungen in the rhon district league as a player-coach. This was reported by the aubstadter in a press release on monday evening. "Daniel has made a lasting impression, both as a person and as a sportsman, and will of course continue to be a welcome guest in aubstadt", it says in the press release.
Over ten years in aubstadt
Leicht had moved from FC strahlungen to TSV aubstadt in the summer of 2011. At that time, the club was still in the national league. With the grabfelder he succeeded in the first year directly the promotion into the bavarian league and in may 2019 finally also the jump into the regional league bavaria. In total, the long-serving performer made 254 appearances and scored 51 goals for the city of aubstadt.
In the current regional league season, however, the 32-year-old was only used sporadically and instead played a few times for the second TSV team in the rhon 2 district league. With his experience and scoring prowess, he helped to ensure that the second team from aubstadt will once again have promotion to the district league in the new year in their own hands. He played his last game for TSV aubstadt’s regional league team at the end of november in aschaffenburg, where he captained the team and set up bjorn schonwiesner’s opening goal in exemplary fashion.
Contract dissolution at 1. January
On monday evening, the TSV managers and daniel leicht finally agreed on the dissolution of the contract as of 1 january 2009. January 2022 agreed. "I would like to thank the club management for their kindness and also for the wonderful and very successful time in aubstadt, which was certainly the best of my active soccer career, is easily quoted in the communication of the association.Florian karlein
